If you provide information about a gift recipient, including a recipient name, delivery address, phone number, business name, building details, delivery instructions, or gift message, you represent that you have the authority or appropriate basis to provide that information for the purpose of preparing, fulfilling, delivering, and supporting the order.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Section 2 - Our Products

Connecticut Baskets offers curated gift baskets and related gifting products, including gourmet gift baskets, corporate gift baskets, wine gift baskets, holiday gift baskets, birthday gifts, thank-you gifts, sympathy gifts, and other occasion-based gifts.

We have made reasonable efforts to provide accurate representations of our products and services on this website. However, colors, product appearance, packaging, basket presentation, and product scale may differ from how they appear on your screen due to device settings, photography, product availability, seasonal variation, and necessary substitutions.

Product descriptions, images, prices, availability, contents, packaging, and presentation are subject to change at any time without notice at our discretion.

Because products may include food, chocolates, beverages, wine, seasonal items, perishable items, specialty goods, packaging materials, or third-party branded products, substitutions may be made when necessary. When substitutions are made, we aim to maintain the overall design intent, size, value, and recipient experience of the selected product.

Section 3 - Orders

When you place an order through the Services, you are making an offer to purchase. Connecticut Baskets reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason at its discretion. Your order is not accepted until Connecticut Baskets confirms acceptance or begins processing the order. We must receive and process your payment before your order is accepted.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it, including product selection, billing information, recipient information, delivery address, delivery date, phone numbers, gift message, and delivery instructions.

Connecticut Baskets may be unable to accommodate cancellation requests, address changes, recipient changes, product changes, delivery-date changes, or gift-message changes after an order is accepted or once preparation, fulfillment, or delivery coordination has begun.

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, cancel, or modify an order where we believe the order contains inaccurate information, unavailable products, restricted products that cannot be fulfilled, suspected fraud, payment issues, delivery limitations, or other issues affecting fulfillment.

Section 4 - Prices and Billing

Prices, discounts, promotions, and product availability are subject to change without notice. Unless otherwise expressly stated, posted prices do not include taxes, shipping, handling, delivery fees, customs, import charges, service fees, or other applicable charges.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information for all purchases. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your selected payment method for the total amount of your order, including products, taxes, delivery fees, and other applicable charges.

Section 5 - Delivery and Fulfillment

Connecticut Baskets is based in Manchester, CT and prepares gift baskets for delivery to recipients throughout Connecticut. Delivery is carried out through couriers, delivery partners, fulfillment providers, or other service providers as applicable.

Next-day delivery may be available across eligible Connecticut delivery areas when orders are placed by 2pm. Final delivery availability depends on destination, product selection, courier availability, recipient details, order volume, weather, and other order-specific factors. Delivery availability and timing are confirmed through the ordering and fulfillment process.

Delivery dates, delivery windows, shipping times, courier timing, and transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by Connecticut Baskets.

We are not liable for shipping or delivery delays, failed delivery attempts, or delivery issues caused by carriers, couriers, delivery partners, weather, traffic, road conditions, building access issues, gated access, hospital or facility rules, recipient unavailability, incorrect or incomplete delivery information, customs processing where applicable, force majeure events, or other circumstances outside our control.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete recipient information, including recipient name, delivery address, phone number, company name where applicable, suite or unit number, building details, facility details, delivery date, and delivery instructions.

If a delivery cannot be completed because of incorrect information, recipient unavailability, restricted access, refusal of delivery, or other issues outside our control, additional fees, re-delivery charges, substitution requirements, or cancellation limitations may apply.

Section 6 - Gift Messages and Recipient Information

If you choose to include a gift message, greeting card message, note, or personalized instruction with an order, you are responsible for ensuring that the content is accurate and appropriate.

Gift messages may be printed, prepared, or otherwise included with the order and may be visible to the recipient. We may decline, edit, or omit content that we determine is unlawful, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, obscene, misleading, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.

Recipient information is used to prepare, fulfill, deliver, and support gift orders. By providing recipient information, you represent that you have the authority or appropriate basis to provide it for these purposes.

Section 7 - Alcohol and Restricted Products

Some products may include wine or other restricted items where permitted by applicable law. Alcohol availability depends on recipient location, product availability, delivery rules, service provider requirements, and applicable laws.

By purchasing any product containing wine or alcohol, you represent that you are of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction and that the recipient is of legal drinking age in the delivery jurisdiction. You also represent that the order complies with all applicable laws.

Alcohol deliveries may require adult signature, age verification, recipient eligibility confirmation, or additional delivery requirements. Orders containing wine or alcohol may be refused, delayed, substituted, or cancelled if legal, delivery, or recipient requirements cannot be satisfied.

Wine brands, vintages, bottle styles, and availability may vary. When wine substitutions are necessary, we aim to preserve the overall value, style, and gifting intent of the order where reasonably possible.

Section 8 - Perishable Items, Food Products, and Allergens

Some products may include food, chocolates, beverages, perishable products, or products containing allergens. Product contents, ingredient information, and allergen information may vary by product, supplier, batch, substitution, or availability.

If you or the recipient has an allergy, dietary restriction, medical condition, or other sensitivity, you are responsible for reviewing available product information and contacting us before placing an order if additional information is needed.

We do not guarantee that products are free from allergens or cross-contact with allergens unless expressly stated in writing. Products may be prepared, handled, packaged, or assembled in facilities that process common allergens.

Product availability may change due to seasonality, supplier availability, wine availability, packaging availability, courier requirements, order volume, or other operational factors.

Substitutions may be made when necessary. When substitutions are made, Connecticut Baskets works to preserve the overall design intent, size, value, and recipient experience of the gift. Substituted items may differ from the product photo, description, or original item list.

Substitutions do not automatically entitle you to cancellation, refund, credit, or replacement where the substituted product maintains the general value and intent of the selected gift.

Section 10 - Customized Products and Special Requests

Some orders may include custom requests, corporate gifting requests, bulk order requests, delivery notes, recipient preferences, or other special instructions. We will review special requests where feasible, but acceptance of an order does not guarantee that every special request can be fulfilled.

Custom, personalized, prepared, perishable, or specially arranged orders may not be eligible for cancellation, refund, exchange, or modification once preparation, sourcing, assembly, fulfillment, or delivery coordination has begun.

Because many products are prepared, assembled, perishable, customized, time-sensitive, or intended for delivery on a specific date, returns, refunds, cancellations, and exchanges may be limited.

Refunds, credits, replacements, or other resolutions, if any, are determined at our discretion based on the facts of the order, product condition, delivery status, timing, and applicable law.
